Led by owners Mark Masone of Flowers by Topaz and Patricia Boscaino of The Showplace Art & Event Design, The Artful Event ? a boutique, full-service event design and decorating firm, located in East Hampton ? was established in 2007. Together, with more than twenty-five combined years of experience in the event industry, The Artful Event caters to their clientele?s each and every need ? from brainstorming to final production ? ensuring that every personal need is met.



The Artful Event works with its clientele on each and every detail? from such major decisions as the selection of the wedding gown, to even the most minute of details, such as the guests? arrival and departure, all while making the most of each budget, working toward their mission.

A true industry veteran, Mark established Flowers by Topaz just over fifteen years ago, as the ultimate floral and event planning and production source. With a lifelong passion for the event industry, Mark began working at a local floral shop at the young age of thirteen; just five years later, Mark opened up a boutique of his very own. Mark has worked with an exclusive clientele that includes New York Governor David Paterson and Lindsay Lohan, as well such major corporations as Sony and Avon, and his work has appeared on Martha Stewart Morning Living, Whos Wedding is it Anyway? and Oheka On Demand.



Patricia Boscaino established The Showplace Art & Event Design in 1984, a full-service event design and production company that boasts an in-house prop, scenic and design fabrication shop. Patricia?s The Showplace counts Former U.S. President George H.W.Bush, Mattel Toys, Britney Spears, Cyndi Lauper and most recently, The Jonas Brothers amongst its roster of noteworthy and colorful clientele. With over twenty-five years of experience, Patricia and her talented team at The Showplace continue to create innovative customized event elements ? hand-painted backdrops, murals, centerpieces, lounge signs, sculptures, mosaics and so forth ? to fit theme and budget, while adding a distinctively personalized touch.
