Sexy pop singing star Christina Aguilera threw a celebrity packed birthday party for her son Max, basing the event on classic children's tale "Where the Wild Things Are." Christina and her husband Jordan Bratman hosted the event at their Beverly Hills, California home on January 17th to celebrate their son turning 1 earlier that week, according to People.com. The party, which was full of costumed mythical characters from the book and decorated with festive blue, green and pink balloons, was attended by 40 guests, including Aguilera's friend Nicole Richie and her boyfriend Joel Madden.

Pop singing Christina Aguliera celebrated her first Mother’s Day with a drop of blood.The star’s hubby Jordan Bratman gave his wife a Stephen Webster locket containing a blood-filled droplet.
And Aguilera is admitting she loves the macabre piece of jewellery, which features a photograph of her baby son Max. She tells InStyle magazine, "I love the symbolism of the blood droplet. It’s like Max pierced my heart."
