She may have left the south side of the Bronx, but Jennifer Lopez still knows how to put up a fight.
Yesterday, J.Lo was granted a temporary restraining order, keeping her ex-husband, Ojani Noa, from banking off their brief marriage. Ojani was supposedly looking to release candid photographs and video from their time together, as well as helm a "mockumentary" about their relationship.
This injunction stops him from doing anything of the sort and when leaving the El Lay court room yesterday, Ojani milked whatever media attention he was allowed to get for all it was worth. He spoke to the press waiting outside the court proclaiming : "She is destroying my life."
To be fair, she is only trying to stop you from destroying hers. Though Ojani insists that any footage he had in his possession was solely being used as research for his "mockumentary", there are reports that there are images of J.Lo "fondling herself," which we are sure she would rather keep unseen.
Along with the injunction, the judge also ordered Ojani to relinquish any and all materials he planned on using in the movie. Unhappy with the whole situation, Ojani will be back in court on December 1st to fight the ruling. Ojani was quoted saying: "She's trying to step on my shoes and not let me move on with my life, and it's not fair."
Excuse us, but how is making a movie about your past relationship moving on with your life?
Your logic is skewed, sir. We suggest you give up now!

After only a short two years after winning a $545,000 judgment against her ex-hubby, Jennifer Lopez is again suing her first husband once again, accusing him of planning to use video of their sex life in a tell-all movie. In the lawsuit, Lopez says former husband Ojani Noa is shopping around the film to industry players, a movie with footage of Noa and Lopez in sexual situations, including their time in a hotel room during their 1997 honeymoon. Lopez is seeking $10 million in damages and a court order preventing dissemination of any video showing her and Noa in intimate situations. The lawsuit against Noa, which was filed on Friday, marks the second time Lopez has sued her first husband, a chef and model to whom she was married for less than 11 months. In 2006, Lopez sued Noa over his plans to publish a tell-all book about their life. It resulted in a California judge ordering Noa to pay Lopez $545,000 for breach of contract. Lopez said Noa had signed an agreement not to publish details of their relationship. Her latest lawsuit accuses Noa of breach of contract and also names filmmaker Ed Meyer as a defendant. Jennifer Lopez clearly didn't want her dirty marital laundry aired.
Citing an injunction two years ago, Jennifer Lopez's lawyers have sent a cease-and-desist letter to her first ex-husband, Ojani Noa, demanding that he finally stop thinking he's going to profit from his brief marriage.
The injunction prevented Noa from publishing a supposed tell-all book a few years back that claimed Lopez, among other things, was hooking up with Marc Anthony while the singer was still married.
Noa has has laughed off the cease and desist order and is shopping a film project called How I Married Jennifer Lopez: The JLo and Ojani Noa Story.
If the book has profiteering in mind, I am sure it will contain lots of salacious details about Jennifer Lopez. No wonder the sexy mom is up in arms over the publication. Source: |

Sexy mom Jennifer Lopez will release a new album early next year called Love?. To create a buzz, she has put out a single ("Fresh Out the Oven," featuring Pitbull).
The noteworthy aspect is Jennifer Lopez's new alter-ego "Lola" which was specially created for this album. A website and Twitter account had also been launched with the teaser "Who Is Lola?"
Jennifer Lopez is not the first singer to experiment with new personalities. Beyonce successfully re-branded herself as Sasha Fierce. And country singer Garth Brooks has an alternative rocker alter-ego named Chris Gaines.
I am not sure if Lola will propel Jennifer Lopez's music career. After all, she has gone through several transitions with her names.
First, it was JLo, followed by 'Stop calling me JLo' and now say hi to Lola. It is all rather confusing.
But let's reserve comments until we bought her album. For the time being, check out Jennifer Lopez's new single "Fresh out the Oven" below.
