Actor Brad Pitt is said to be in talks for the lead role in the upcoming movie The Gray Man, which is based on f Mark Greaney's novel. According to reports, the Hollywood star wants to play a CIA agent-turned-elite assassin in New Regency's new project. He is said to start filming soon after finishing World War Z.
Earlier this year, Brad Pitt was named as the possible candidate for the leading man, but the reports were shot down later. Sources claim that the actor was not to sign the project as his partner Angelina Jolie did not to work simultaneously. But now, he is about to finish the filming for World War Z. So he is in negotiation for the hero role in the movie The Gray Man.
Adam Cozad has been roped in to adapt the Mark Greaney's thriller novel for the big screen. Pitt's Plan B partner Dede Gardner will serve as a producer along with Stephen Garrett of Shine. The story revolves around a CIA agent-turned-elite assassin, who is on the run when his last job goes bad. While dodging the forces, who are out to get him, he has to keep his family safe.
However, Brad Pitt has earlier acted in New Regency's Fight Club and The Gray Man will be his second movie under the banner. He is currently shooting for World War Z. After finishing it, he is expected to take up this new project.

She is one of the highest paid actresses in the world but Angelina Jolie says she doesn't love acting as much as she used to. The 36-year-old star, who raises six children with longtime partner Brad Pitt, said she enjoys playing the role of a mother more now, reported Us magazine.
"I don't love acting as much as I did. I love being a mom. I've never not been grateful to be an actor. But I think when I was younger I needed [acting] more. I was trying to question things in life so you find these characters that help you find things and grow.
"I'm older and I know who I am... and I'm less interested in the character helping me answer something... than in being able to answer it for myself, as a woman, as an adult, with my family," Jolie said.
Her directorial debut 'In the Land of Blood and Honey' is a love story she also wrote, which is set in the Bosnian war.
"I prefer being behind the camera to acting. I think I've learnt something from all of the directors I've worked with even the ones I didn't like... I also learned a lot from Clint Eastwood about how to appreciate the members of the crew, empowering them to do their job," she added.
But Jolie doesn't plan to stay in the business forever.
"As Brad and I get older we're going to do fewer films. I've been working for a long time, he's been working for a long time. We've had a nice run and I don't want to be doing this our whole lives. There are a lot of other things to do," Jolie said.

Brangelina looked so much in love as they posed on the red carpet at the New York premiere of Angelina Jolie's new movie, The Tourist.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt were joined by The Tourist lead actor Johnny Depp amongst other celebrities, but they only had eyes for each other.
The sexy mom dazzled on the red carpet in an ivory low-cut Atelier Versace gown with a thigh-high slit and Ferragamo pumps. Brad Pitt showed his appreciation by holding Angelina's hand and firmly squeezing her booty.
Even with six young children around, the 35 year-old sexy celebrity mentions that they always make time to be themselves and not just Mom and Dad.
It seems Angelina Jolie is unperturbed by the foul-mouthed tirade of comedian and "Chelsea Lately" hostess, Chelsea Handler. Some choice words used include 'home wrecker', 'f***ing c***' and 'f***ing b***h.'
Well, Chelsea can say what she likes but her good pal Jennifer Aniston can only eat her heart out as Angelina Jolie is just going to be more lovely-dovey with Brad Pitt.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie have donated $150,000 to a children's charity.
The couple gave the sum to SOS Children's Villages, USA - which supports adoptive families and highlights the needs of children without parental care - in recognition of National Adoption Day through their Jolie-Pitt Foundation.
Dr. Heath Paul, CEO of SOS Children's Villages, USA, said: "I am truly thankful that Angelina and Brad understand the power of family - the kind of stable family that SOS holds as an essential part of healthy child development.
Together, Angelina and Brad have been eye-witnesses to the great work of SOS Children's Villages in Ethiopia, Jordan, a Darfur refugee camp in Chad and Haiti. Angelina and Brad know that children's need for a family is universal. The donation from the couple - who have adopted three children, Maddox, nine, Pax, six, and Zahara, five, as well as three other kids, Shiloh, four, and two-year-old twins Knox and Vivienne - will provide the long-term financial support needed for a family of four foster children in one of the US SOS Children's Villages.
Last year, the couple donated $100,000 to two of the organisation's centres in Florida and Illinois after being impressed by their work.
Angelina said of the generous gift: "We have seen firsthand the remarkable job SOS does to raise orphaned and abandoned children and keep families together. No one 'ages out' of an SOS Village: vocational training, advanced education, living assistance and moral support are there forever."
The SOS Villages house over 200 children and last Christmas Brad insisted it was important to show gratitude for the work the organisation does.
He said: "In this holiday season, many of us take for granted that we are surrounded by loving family members. The poor outcomes for foster children indicate that we must do a much better job of supporting them."
It was revealed last year Brad and Angelina donated $6.8 million to charity in 2008 after raising the money through their Jolie-Pitt Foundation.
