She’s been holidaying in St Lucia since early December, but Amy Winehouse finally drew an end to her Caribbean getaway, arriving home in London on Sunday morning (March 1).
The “Rehab” singer reportedly hopped on a flight from Barbados to London Gatwick Airport, sporting a red top, jeans and ballet shoes as she made her way to an awaiting car.
And while many believe that Amy made the trip to try and make things right with husband Blake Fielder-Civil, who was just released from prison, insiders say that Blake wants no part of Amy.
“He’s turned a corner since he last saw Amy,” a source told The Sun. “His mum Georgette plans to sell up and get Blake to another country. They don’t want to squander all the hard work.”

Amy WinehousePop singer Amy Winehouse's mother is insisting that her daughter will divorce her jailed hubby, despite recent rumors of a reconciliation in the works. Lawyers for Winehouse's husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, who is currently in prison for causing actual bodily harm and perverting the course of justice, filed papers last month in a bid to bring the pairs marriage to an end, once and for all. Winehouse reportedly had second thoughts about the split, and planned a trip back to Britain from her current vacation break in the Caribbean in a final effort to save their relationship. But Winehouse's mother, Janis, has confirmed the couple is pressing ahead and making the divorce official. She tells British magazine Heat, "The divorce proceedings are still going ahead. Her dad Mitch deals with that side of things." Internet gossips have speculated that Fielder-Civil could receive a multimillion dollar pay out in the divorce, and Janis Winehouse admits she doesn't know how much money Fielder-Civil could be awarded. She adds, "As for the money, I don't know what is happening with regards to Blake. All I know is that we have always looked after her finances. We have a company where all of Amy's money goes. We're a family and we make sure we look after one another."

Rehab star Amy Winehouse is reportedly handing control of her $21 million singing fortune over to her parents. The troubled singer has been on vacation in St. Lucia since December following numerous health problems throughout last year, which included a stint in rehab and several long stays in hospital. Amy has been known to spend her money recklessly in the past, but in a bid to keep a reign on her vast savings, she is now said to have signed over controlling rights of her money to parents Mitch and Janis Winehouse. It means that Winehouse cannot make any major business decisions concerning her company, Cherry Westfield, without consulting them first. A source tells Britain's Sunday Mirror newspaper, "Everyone is pleased because it means Amy is listening to good advice. It's still her money and nobody else can touch it. But this stops her doing anything stupid. And it is evidence that Amy is really turning her life around." The singer reportedly signed documents that give her parents "articles of association," handing them shares in her company and voting rights that could restrict her actions. The source adds, "Mitch convinced Amy she needs a safety valve for the money for her own good, to stop her doing anything rash. She can be very impetuous and the family wanted to protect her. She cannot make a sudden decision. "Her dad was also worried she might be tempted to go back to (her jailed husband) Blake (Fielder-Civil) and put him in charge. That is now impossible. This would never have happened before, certainly not when she was with Blake. It's her money and nobody else can touch it. But she can't do anything stupid." more at: |

She’s been living it up in the Caribbean for over a month now, but it sounds like Amy Winehouse’s vacation just got a strong dose of reality courtesy of a burglary. The “You Know I’m No Good” singer’s north London apartment was broken into early Thursday morning, and thanks to a neighbor (who scared off the burglars), the damage isn’t as bad as it could’ve been. more at: |
